Caught by alligators, saved his life
Inverness, FL - A 71-yearl-old man fell off a dock and into the jaws of an alligator but said his knowledge of reptiles, gained from watching wildlife programs on television, helped him escape. "I wasn't a bit afraid. I knew what they usually do," said George Blinn, who got away from the 7-foot gator by jabbing his thumb in its eye. Blinn said he has long been a fan of such programs as Wild Kingdom and knew about alligators' general behavior. He got the chance to use that knowledge when he fell into the canal behind his house. What the heck is a koozie?
I started to hear the work koozie in the early 90’s mostly in the Texas region and though to my self what the heck is a koozies? First of all everyone spells and calls “koozies” differently, everything from cozies, beer holders to beer stubby holders. I personally call them Koozies simply because that’s the most popular term I hear. I always though that koozies were something that were local to America but after traveling for the last five years I have seen them to be very popular in places like Australia where they call them eco holders, they are so popular Aussies don’t drink beer without them. And in south east Asia and some parts of Europe they are catching on. A koozie is another word for a can holder, made to keep aluminum cans or beer bottles cold and prevent condensation from forming which keeps your hands dry and liquid cold, Koozies have been around for t. . .

Consider the whoopee cushion, also referred to as the Poo Poo Cushion and Razzbery Cushion. An object of disgust for some, merriment for others. I work in Engineering and Manufacturing – have done for years – we design, make, install, fix, improve and do a (flipping) - work it out for yourself - good job, even if I do say so myself. Every "now and again" it comes around and it’s the now – now . Some bright spark in Head Office decides that we need to spend mega bucks on a flash motivational speaker/presentation type rev up. What a waste of time, energy and hard earned cash. Smart suits, power dressing, slick presentations and all of the right buzz words, tricks and anecdotes. I don’t have time for this sort of garbage – I’ve got work to do. These guys have never done a real days work in their lives, wouldn’t know the meaning of the word stress and they want to teach ME about motivation. Let me tell you this - Whe. . .

Fact Is Funnier Than Comedy
When I need a chuckle, I try to watch a sitcom or read the funnies. When my need for comedy is greater, then I invest my time in watching a complete movie. But when nothing but the funniest will do, I just observe the so-called real world around me. The fact that this is really happening makes all the weird stuff all the more funny. To begin with, one tends to have a basic expectation of common sense from people. But the word common is misleading, as most often what we would classify as common sense is fairly uncommon. What?
